A few years ago I was walking down steps carry a heavy box and thought I had reached the bottom but was actually 2 steps from the bottom. When I took my next step, I landed hard on my right leg injuring my knee. The next few weeks saw me visiting an osteopathic doctor as well as a neurosurgeon. Both doctors said there was nothing "structurally" wrong my knee. Yet, I couldn’t sit in a car for more than 30 minutes without having to pull over to get out and walk around—the pain in my knee was so intense. So, what eventually saved me and relieved the pain? Lunges!
